As vice president of worldwide sales and partner training programs, Jeff leads a team that is responsible for training more than 18,000 direct sellers and 100,000 partner sellers. The worldwide sales training organization develops and delivers training in all Cisco architectures, as well as in professional skills development for the Cisco and partner teams. Jeff also oversees the Cisco Sales Associate and Partner Associate Programs for recent college graduates.
Prior to leading training, Jeff was an area vice president for the U.S. Commercial Central Area which encompasses a 13-state geography in the midwestern U.S. The Central Area was responsible for more than $1.5 billion in annual Cisco product and services sales.
Jeff joined Cisco as part of its acquisition of Stratacom in 1996, where he was responsible for recruiting and sales force development, initially in the Asia Pacific region. This is part of Jeff’s extensive experience leading teams across the U.S. in Fortune 500, public and commercial business sectors.
Very active in economic development at the state and regional levels, Jeff was the founder and chairman of the Tailwind Group, a program which identified and assisted high potential, start-up companies and facilitated their rapid growth. He is also past chairman of the technical advisory boards of Marian College and The Orchard School. Jeff graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in finance in 1985.
